Fuel Adjustment Factor (FAF)

FAF is a variable fuel surcharge used by freight and courier companies to re-coop costs for fuel increases at the pump. This can change weekly and sometimes daily in this climate, we do attempt to keep this website up to date, however these rates can change without notice. Rest assured however, that any billing will be made at the FAF rate charged on each consignment. This rate is applied only to carriers who charge FAF and will appear on invoices for products/services from the carriers applicable.

As at  02 February 2012 the following FAF rates will apply:

  • PBT 5.0%,
  • Post Haste Couriers 6.3%
  • Castle Parcels 6.3%
  • Bascik Transport 13.25%
  • Owens 5.6%

 

This amount will be added to purchases made in this week to all Courier Solutions invoices.
